Director Statement: On its face, No Hands is a midnight comedy – with splashy genre elements and even a climactic cutaway to a vagina (which is actually an angle on my own hairy armpit, a brilliant bit of movie-magic devised by my Art Department head Eman Akram Nader). This is a premise designed to shock and delight the audience as it horrifies the protagonist with its audacity, but, really, this film is about my own attachments to professional jealousy and a reminder to myself and other artists that it is ridiculous to compare ourselves… because we can all get off.
